On January 4, Akshaya Raman revealed the cover to her fantasy debut The Ivory Key through Twitter. Pitched as perfect for fans of We Hunt The Flame and The Gilded Wolves, it’s set to be released in early 2022!
Following four estranged and dysfunctional royal siblings, they’re on a quest to for a mythical key, hidden by a secret society.
According to a quote tweet the author replied to, the cover features a South Indian-style temple known as Gopurams and kolam designs.
Raman also mentioned in the cover reveal that the novel will feature an Indiana Jones-esque quest.
The cover artist is Doaly and designer is Dana Li.
Magic, a prized resource, is the only thing between peace and war. When magic runs out, four estranged royal siblings must find a new source before their country is swallowed by invading forces.
This is the first in an Indian-inspired duology.
