Adrienne Young Returning To Fable World In An Upcoming YA Fantasy Standalone

On March 26, Wednesday Books and Reese’s Book Club announced through Twitter that Adrienne Young will be releasing another novel set in the world of Fable during Fall 2021, which will be titled The Last Legacy.

The novel has been pitched as a story about “family and blood ties, reinventing yourself, and controlling your own destiny.” Focused on 18-year-old Bryn Roth, she is summoned by her uncle back to Bastian, where she is eager to prove herself and have a place among her long-lost family.

Fable follows the daughter of a powerful trader in the Narrows, who gets abandoned by her father on a legendary island filled with thieves and little food. After joining forces with a young trader named West, she plans to find her father and ultimately earn her place beside him and his crew.

The Fable novels are a nautical, adventure fantasy series.

Cover designer is Kerri Resnick. Young is also the NYT Bestselling author of novels such as Sky In The Deep and The Girl The Sea Gave Back. The full summary for The Last Legacy is:

When a letter from her uncle Henrick arrives on Bryn Roth’s eighteenth birthday, summoning her back to Bastian, Bryn is eager to prove herself and finally take her place in her long-lost family.

Henrik has plans for Bryn, but she must win everyone’s trust if she wants to hold any power in the delicate architecture of the family. It doesn’t take long for her to see that the Roths are entangled in shadows.

Despite their growing influence in upscale Bastian, their hands are still in the kind of dirty business that got Bryn’s parents killed years ago.

With a forbidden romance to contend with and dangerous work ahead, the cost of being accepted into the Roths may be more than Bryn can pay.

The Last Legacy by Adrienne Young is set to be released September 7, 2021!
