‘Here’s To Us’ by Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera Cover Reveal

As of April 13, Adam Silvera and Becky Albertalli revealed the sequel cover to their 2018 novel What If It’s Us which will be titled Here’s To Us through Buzzfeed.

What If It’s Us is pitched as a “queer love story about two very different boys who find fate is either drawing them together or pulling them apart.” Ben and Arthur meet at a post office in New York where following a series of moments both good and bad, they wonder whether their relationship will work out.

In the sequel, Ben and Arthur have continued on with their lives, busy with internships and school, however “even as the boys try to shake off the past, they keep running into each other in the present. Is this the universe trying to tell them there’s a do-over in their future?”

According to the article, readers can expect “Arthur and Ben’s big romantic do-over.” The cover was highlighted alongside a list of Queer YA novel recommendations.

Cover artist is Jeff Östberg, including designers Erin Fitzsimmons and Alison Donalty.

Arthur is only in New York for the summer, but if Broadway has taught him anything, it’s that the universe can deliver a showstopping romance when you least expect it.

Ben thinks the universe needs to mind its business. If the universe had his back, he wouldn’t be on his way to the post office carrying a box of his ex-boyfriend’s things.

But when Arthur and Ben meet-cute at the post office, what exactly does the universe have in store for them? Maybe nothing. After all, they get separated.

Maybe everything. After all, they get reunited.

But what if they can’t quite nail a first date . . . or a second first date . . . or a third?

What if Arthur tries too hard to make it work . . . and Ben doesn’t try hard enough?

What if life really isn’t like a Broadway play?

But what if it is?

Here’s To Us by Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera is set to be released December 28, 2021!
